Meet the man behind The Bistro

Bernard Cuillier, the master chef behind Bistro des Amis, has spent his entire career in the kitchen. Having helped create and reestablish restaurants on every continent and just about every cruise line around the world, he loves to help make good, better. Today, he stands as one of fifty chefs knighted into the World Master Chef Organization, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a chef.

Yet, you wouldn't know anything about his stature without me mentioning it, because when you meet Bernard, he's unpretentious and acts like any hard working man or woman, with a single passion to create the next great meal.

When you come over to Bistro des Amis, you'll probably see Bernard pop out to look at the front end and to meet some guests. You'll notice him in his funny looking pajama-like chef pants with a t-shirt, and an apron and clogs to top it off.

His next venture

It makes sense that Bernard would naturally gravitate to catering. What many of you may not know is, he's used to organizing, managing and creating up to 10,000 dishes a day for cruise ships. Weddings, VIP parties, wine events, cocktail parties, full five course meals, and so forthe were all part of it. If you've ever been on one yourself or know of somebody that has, the amazing food and service is always talked about. Something to think about for your next party or event.
