The 26th Annual French-American Wine and Food Festival given by the French American Chamber of Commerce proved a luxe spectacular! The Soiree, held at the Hilton on Post Oak, attracted over 1,200 guests. While sampling a wide spectrum of fare from local gourmet restaurants, including Masraff’s, Noé, Carmelo’s and Shimako Sushi Bar, guests’ glasses were filled with a fine selection of French and American wines: vivid Beaujolais, elegant Bordeaux, and resplendent Cabernet Sauvignons
Guests played their hand at luck while raffling for 2 pairs of 1st class domestic tickets on Continental Airlines* and a luxurious Roche Bobois Curl Armchair! The silent auction was a large success with its lavish hotel packages, luxury items and goods from local upscale boutiques. Spirits were high as guests danced to sounds and stylings of theFried Ice Cream Band.
